'Winds of Change'

A short film based on the image of a dried flower head silhouetted against the sky, showing the dislocation and dissemination of its seeds caused by the ever – present stormy winds.

The footage for this film was slowed down; reversed and repeated to create an interpretation of the repetitive act of leaving and returning to a place you call home.

‘Winds of change’ acknowledges the repetitious act of leaving and returning to home whilst accentuating and highlighting the feelings of displacement and reverie that we can feel during these periods of transitory movement and it is these emotions that ‘Winds of Change’ feeds into with its use of disorientating sound and repetitive distorted imagery.
